Health Literacy: Intervention and Outcome in Child Healthcare in Bangladesh

Bangladesh made significant improvements in child healthcare and achieved its Millennium Development Goal (MDG) 4 (to reduce mortality). In 2010, the United Nations recognized for exceptional progress towards MDG to maternal mortality face of many socioeconomic challenges. We are also committed achieve our Sustainable (SDG) by 2030. Health education department Government prioritized several essential health interventions over past decades. There were focuses on expanding immunization, tackling diarrhoea pneumonia, vitamin A campaign, prevention blindness, iodine deficiency, improving adolescent health. These programmes strategies scaled-up nationwide. The government along with stakeholders promoted widespread availability affordability those literacy an emphasis community-based approaches. As a result, inequities coverage specific declined; this may explain seen amongst even most disadvantaged populations country. Media campaigns played great role, which undertaken decades involved nationally broadcast television supported radio, television, newspaper, billboard advertisements local promotion activities. expect that ongoing public private partnerships (PPPs) contracts NGOs sector will enable us greater success information services throughout country.
